Word Chaining
The aim of this activity is to strengthen students' phonemic awareness and word manipulation skills by constructing words using tiles or a whiteboard, then challenging them to transform the original word into a new one by replacing or altering a single sound, thereby reinforcing their ability to recognise and manipulate graphemes within words effectively.
